Who we are

This website is run by Sergio Alballay trading as Newen Tech Solutions, ABN 53 101 284 482 (“we”, “us”). You can contact us about privacy at privacy@newentechsolutions.com.

What we collect

When you contact us. Your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your business name and what you would like help with.

When you become a client. Business and billing details, your ABN, records of the work and payments, and the access details we need to look after your website and accounts.

When you visit this website. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. We do not use a separate analytics tool, but our hosting provider gives us summaries of visits, such as which countries they come from.

When we talk. Notes from calls, meetings, emails and messages.

We do not ask for health information, card numbers or bank details through this website.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote
• To provide, bill for and support our services
• To keep the records we need for tax and legal reasons
• To keep our website and systems secure
• To contact you about your service. We only send marketing if you have asked for it, and you can opt out at any time.

How enquiries are handled

When you use our contact form, your message goes through an email service to our inbox, and we log it in our customer database so we can follow it up. We keep client records in systems we run ourselves. They are not open to the public internet, and they are protected with two-step login.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with providers who help us run the business: website hosting, email, the contact-form service, the domain registry, payments (bank transfer through our bank, and card payments through Stripe), electronic signing, and software tools, including AI tools that help us design and build websites. We try to keep personal information out of AI tools. We may also share information if the law requires it. If you ask, we will tell you which providers handle your information.

Overseas

Our website servers are in Singapore, and some of our providers are based in, or process data in, other countries, including the United States. By contacting us you accept that your information may be handled outside Australia.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Some services we use may set their own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

Keeping it safe

We use two-step login on our accounts, a password manager, encrypted storage for client records and limited access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee safety. If we find a problem that affects you, we will tell you promptly.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become work: 12 months, then we delete them.
• Client records and invoices: at least five years, as business and tax rules require.
• Access details for client sites: removed when the service ends.
• Website technical logs: kept by our hosting provider for its own period.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email privacy@newentechsolutions.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
